"Capturing the Soul of Tennis"
Tennis is a wonderful sport and,
as with every walk of life, the soul of the activity is
demonstrated and captured by unique individuals. Tennis
blossoms and these unique individuals add to the spirit of the
sport. Some of the people are world famous, whilst others are
less known.
Tennis4everyone is interested
in offering the unique insight, excitement and enthusiasm that
these types of people bring to their area of expertise.
Tennis4everyone wants to help bring together a village of
people, a community of enthusiasts, across all ages and
playing abilities, who capture the "soul of tennis" in their
work and enjoyment of the game.
We have rethought and
redesigned our original site, videotennis.com, to form this
new site, tennis4everyone.com. We have totally overhauled the
content too, to freshen up everything we can offer you. We are
busy developing more and more new content, with great ideas in
the pipeline - especially to add photographs to illustrate all
of our content - so that the site lives and breathes tennis.
Tennis4everyone will
increasingly bring to you a wide variety of information,
stories and fascinating perspectives, to embody the spirit of
everyone who loves the sport of tennis.
Simply, Tennis4everyone will
be an expression of the "soul of tennis". We would like to
thank Claudio Pistolesi, who first mentioned the concept of
the "soul of tennis" to David Sammel.
David Sammel is a former
coach to seven British Davis Cup players, including Barry
Cowan, Martin Lee and Arvind Parmar and is the Head Coach at
the LTA's Leeds Academy, one of four UK Academies.
