PURPOSE:
The purpose of the following tip is to show/demonstrate how important it is for a player to get under the ball when hitting overheads.

To help explain we give examples of 2 photos and 2 videos: Incorrect and correct to illustrate the difference.

EXPLANATION OF VIDEOS:
If a player does not move quick enough into position slightly behind and under the ball but not where the arm is at 45 degrees it gets difficult to position correctly and also to reach up tall since the player will not be properly under the ball.

Also the left arm will often drop too early from this position causing miss-hits and netting because the head will often follow the arm and drop early pulled down by the weight of the falling left arm.

CONCLUSION: Early recognition of needing to get back for an overhead and quick movement attempting to beat the ball in the air to get into position where you are placed slightly behind and under the ball will ensure consistent and powerful overheads. The hit is similar to the serve, (see SERVE DVD and PRO-DRILLS DVD on overheads)

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
